Specifications
Area treated: 1000 mtrs X 3.5 mrs X 150mm deep
Soil Analysis: 40% Silty Sand with variable aggregate. (large stones removed)
Stabilising Dosage Rate: 2.5 ltrs SBT11-W per cubic mtr plus water to reach just over OMC
Top Seal: 1 ltr SBT11-W per 5 sq mtrs surface area plus 5 ltrs water per 5 sq mtrs
Spray Tank: 4000 ltrs
Offset Plough Discs for breaking up the soil and mixing in the stabilising polymer.
Road Grader to create the correct road profile for adequate drainage.
Road completed in 2 days.
A surface compression test, carried out after compaction, indicates that the road will now support a 100 tonne+ load.

Step 1
The area was ripped to a depth of 150mm.
SBT11-C polymer, plus sufficient water to bring the soil moisture level to just over OMC ( optimum moisture content), was mixed into the spray truck.
The polymer/water mixture was then sprayed over the entire area.
Step 2
The polymer/water mixture was then thoroughly mixed into the soil with a road grader.
Step 3
The area was then graded, compacted, and surface sealed to provide a durable and natural surface.
SITE REPORT AFTER 3 YEARS:
The road has performed extremely well and was recently visited by the management of the Kruger National Park who have now approved the use of SoilBind polymers for the parks roads and pathways.
