Surfaseal forms a chemical bond and a penetrating seal for the resurfacing of existing asphalt, concrete, blocks etc providing the following benefits:

Surfaseal was developed for the renovation and surface sealing of ageing ASPHALT PARKING AREAS, DRIVEWAYS and PATHWAYS.
Surfaseal works as a sealer by penetrating all the imperfections, including cracks and eruptions in the asphalt or concrete surface.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
SURFACE PREPARATION AND INSTALLATION:
The surface should be thoroughly cleaned by hosing with water, sweeping, or pressure washing. If there are any areas with decomposing asphalt due to petroleum deposits, they should be cleaned thoroughly with SoilBind 'Deepclean' and rinsed with a high-pressure water hose.
All organic matter, grass, weeds etc must be removed. The area to be treated should be dry and clean prior to the application of Surfaseal.
The surface to be treated must be structurally sound and damaged areas must be repaired.
The surface must then be first sealed with a mixture of 1 part Surfaseal mixed with 1 part water.
Calculate the sq mtrs to be treated.
Mix 1 kg of 2mm grit with 2.5 ltrs of undiluted Surfatreat, apply this evenly over an area of 1.6 to 2 sq mtrs
and tamp down until level.
CURING TIME:
The time to dry will vary, depending on weather conditions. Normally in ambient temperatures it can be walked on in 60 minutes. A full 24-hour cure is recommended before traffic is driven on the new surface, although it is not uncommon to have light traffic in only 4 hours (where wheel turning should be avoided).
MIXING
Surfaseal is supplied as a ready to use concentrate. Only dilute as instructed for surface sealing only.
CLEANUP
Surfaseal is simple and requires little cleanup effort. To clean tools and affected skin, wash with soap and water. Once Surfaseal dries it is very difficult to remove.
